We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to carry out Electrical Inspection & Testing Activities on our GWR contract. Applicants should have Domestic and Commercial Experience. The applicant would also be expected to assist when required with various reactive and PPM tasks. Some installation work may be expected although the core part of the role is Inspection & testing.

This is a hands-on role and would suit an individual that can work using their own initiative and have a proactive approach to undertake all tasks required, a conscientious and reliable team player and someone that has excellent interpersonal and communication skills due to this being a client facing role. The ability to plan and supervise their own workload as well as being able to produce quotes for additional works required by obtaining materials costs and writing up a description of the works required.

Job Description/Duties:

· Electrical Inspection & Testing including writing up NICEIC reports.

· Working as part of a maintenance team to deliver a great service to the client

· Duties will also include when required: - All aspects of Electrical PPM to SFG20 standard, Electrical remedial works, Reactive tasks, Electrical fault finding & Small electrical installation tasks.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

· C&G Level 2 and 3 Diploma Electrical Installation (Or Equivalent)

· C&G 2391-52 (Combined Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection and Testing preferred)

· 18th edition

· Strong Electrical experience

· Sound understanding and experience of meeting Health & Safety obligations about maintenance activities

· Must be prepared to work out of hours when required

· Have good communication and organisation skills

· Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude

· Must have a full UK driving license

· Ability to work on own or as part of a team

· Participate in a call out rota

Knowledge of working within a railway environment preferable but not essential

PTS certified is preferable but training can be provided.

A DBS Enhanced (Criminal Records Bureau) check is required for all successful candidates.
