The Plant Operations Engineer is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of plant machinery and equipment. They ensure compliance with regulations, implement maintenance programs, troubleshoot issues, and identify energy-saving opportunities. Responsibilities:
- Manage plant equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
- Develop and execute maintenance programs for machinery.
- Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs for equipment failures.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Identify energy-saving opportunities and implement sustainable practices.
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering *18th Edition) or Mechanical Engineering to SP level
- A BOAS qualification is preferred, however training can be provided for the successful candidate.
- Strong technical knowledge of plant operations and systems.
- Previous experience in facilities management or plant operations.
- Understanding of safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Proficient in CMMS and other relevant software.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
