Role Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Pangbourne

Role Purpose

Static Electrical Service engineer for completion of daily, weekly, monthly and annual service and PPM’s and reactive works.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate all systems within the buildings in a competent, effective, and efficient manner.
  • Completion of PPM and Reactive Tasks and update the electronic workflow system.
  • Ensure that daily checks are completed and repair, report any defects found via the FM helpdesk.
  • Identification of materials required to be ordered & installed in a timely manner.
  • Comply with both statutory and company health, safety and environmental regulations and policies.
  • Timely implementation and recording of statutory inspections including accurate recording within their specified logbooks.
  • Ensure that Specialist Service Provider worksheets are reviewed & signed off, the quality of work is inspected, and recommendations are escalated to the Supervisor.
  • The team will ensure that the site, plant areas, workshops, stores, changing/rest areas etc. are kept to the highest level of housekeeping
  • Provide emergency response standby as part of a call out rota.
  • Escalate urgent issues identified through to the Technical Services Manager. Respond to work interruptions, outages or emergencies consistent with the SLA.
  • Liaise with Clients representatives with respect to maintenance & repair tasks.

The Engineer will be expected to work on, and trouble shoot all building systems but not be limited to the following:

  • Three Phase and Single Phase Systems
  • Building Management Systems & Electrical Monitoring.
  • HVAC Systems
  • Air Handling, Air Conditioning & Chillers.
  • Pumps, Motors & Variable Speed Drive.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

  • Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or similar
  • BS 7671 18th edition
  • C&G 2391 or equivalent
  • PPM experience
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff.
  • Proactive in achieving the highest standard of operation.
  • Have good IT and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm, clear thinking and able to deliver the required services to the client within given time constraints.
  • Experience of operation of UPS and Standby Power
  • LOTO Experience
  • HVAC experience (not essential)
  • BMS experience (a Bonus)
  • CAFM (Corrigo)knowledge (a Bonus)
