Integral is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Services Manager to join our team in Pangbourne, working with a prestigious high-profile client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Hard Services Management (budgets, schedules, quality & risk, statutory compliance, and governance)
  • Develop and implement consistent maintenance management practices on site. Lead service partners and teams in driving performance and best practice to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Accountable for the JLL Engineering Operations Audit program for the client account
  • Drive and deliver innovative cost reduction or sustainability programs.
  • Deliver improvement strategies using quantifiable data driven information from all available technology platforms.
  • Work with the account EMEA Sustainability Manager to identify energy management best practices and innovations that are applicable within the Client account.
  • Accountable for engineering budget working with the Site Lead in accordance with the financial timetable
  • Communicate regularly with the Client team to build and maintain relationships and work with key business partners and cross functional groups.
  • Manage internal and external Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators to ensure contractual commitments are met or exceeded.
  • Promote high level of customer service to ensure and drive best practices.
  • Ensure business continuity plans are carried out as required to maintain minimum service disruption.
  • Conduct risk assessments and follow safety protocols, keeping up to date with latest legislation and trends.
  • Able to apply a risk focused maintenance approach and operations of plant and systems in Labs / critical environments.
  • Provide supervision and leadership of a service team that ensures the efficient and safe operation of client site.
  • Lead and develop a ONE TEAM approach with all JLL/Integral staff and supply partners as part of Third-Party Contractor Management.
  • Operate to an Asset management plan (one year - 10 year), dilapidation and update plans relating to special locations and change control process covering business critical areas.
  • Escalate urgent issues identified through to the Site Lead and UK Engineering Manager. Respond to work interruptions, outages, or emergencies consistent with the SLA.
  • Establish emergency response escalation programs working with the client and Security to ensure the appropriate representatives are notified of emergency conditions in a timely manner.
  • Ensure maintenance is carried out in line with Client and JLL H&S procedures, using the permit to work system where applicable and action improvements identified during the building and workplace inspections and reviews.
  • Manage all technical training requirements including competency assessments, critical services training, and scenario training exercises.
  • Other duties as requested by the UK Engineering Manager to meet the changing needs and demands of the business.
  • All the time working in accordance with health and safety measures and promoting best practice amongst colleagues, contractors, and vendors.

Working Life

  • In the role you will be based at the Pangbourne campus, with minimal travel to other UK sites.
  • You will work independently reporting to the UK Engineering Manager
  • You will work over a 5-day week, Monday to Friday
  • On occasion you may be required to work weekends or bank holidays, this will be arranged in advance.

About You

  • You have direct experience in delivering technical Facilities Management services within a fast paced, high profile environment.
  • You have worked in a similar role and have skills to lead and influence others.
  • You have a track record in the management of Hard Services, preferably in both self-delivered and outsourced engineering services contracts.
  • You have experience in financial management and budgeting, identifying cost savings/avoidance.
  • You are able to build and maintain positive client relations and network at all levels.
  • You are open and have good communication skills.
  • You are proficient with Word and Excel and have a keen interest in technology.
  • You strive for excellence in what you do and share ideas for improvement.
  • You are organized, work efficiently, and can meet tight deadlines with professionalism and service focused approach.
  • You are adaptable to work to requests and projects that may vary.
  • Higher diploma in mechanical / electrical engineering.
  • Technical or/and Authorised Person (preferred) qualifications.
