Role Title: Technical Manager

Location: Park House, Mayfair

Role Purpose:

We are currently recruiting a Technical Manager to join one of our most highly regarded client sites based in the Mayfair area. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the company delivers its contractual obligations on time whilst managing the on-site shift/day engineers, reporting into management and being first point of technical advice for the team. The successful candidate will be required to work on site from Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm and will be rewarded with salary reflective of their background, skill-set and experience.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To represent the hard services team and ensure the successful site support for all engineering requirements
  • Conduct Audits in line with the Integral / JLL processes
  • To ensure all Critical Service processes are developed in a common approach and meet client requirements or appropriate Service Level Agreements (SLA), as per the Critical Maintenance Guide
  • Cover for the Contract/Account Manager when required, for all technical activities, main interface with the site client teams. (Development of relationship with the key clients and stakeholders)
  • Monitor PPM & Reactive duties through the CAFM system in line with required frequencies and legislative guidance.
  • Ensure compliance is maintained at all times and where deficiencies are identified, remediation/action plans are implemented and acted upon.
  • To ensure all Technical Activities are carried out to meet Integral’s health and safety and client safety requirements
  • Timely implementation and recording of statutory inspections including accurate recording of fire, access equipment and water hygiene records within their specified folders.
  • Maintain the Asset Management Plan and monitor criticality and condition of assets
  • Actively monitor and manage specialist service providers to ensure adherence to contractual and legal obligations.
  • Continuously develop & manage the site technical team to ensure service delivery is maintained to the highest standards.
  • Review plant and system performance, highlighting solutions and progressing Continuous Improvement and appropriate bench-marking programmes.
  • Provide emergency response, managing on site team and communications.
  • Develop and maintain a service team culture and improve of self-delivery / Self Perform.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • High level of technical awareness within the FM building services industry.
  • Recognized apprenticeship, Degree qualified / HNC Electrical/mechanical engineering or the equivalent
  • C&G 2360 Parts 1 and 2 or equivalent
  • C&G 2391 - Desirable
  • 18th Edition IEE: Wiring & Installation
  • HV/LV Authorised Person
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience of engineering services within critical environment
  • Good managing and Leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • IT literate
  • Proficient with MS applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
