The Role

This key position and challenging role of the Assistant Project Manager reports directly to the Lead Project Manager, you will be a key stakeholder of the Moves and Changes (MACs) / Agile Projects and Small Works across key clients within the Central London Projects Team.

As the post holder, you will be expected to manage the delivery of all MACs / Project works within the UK portfolio (Mainly Central London) working closely with the Central London Project Managers.

The Assistant Project Manager will also be expected to become familiar with all aspects of the administrative and compliance requirements of various Key Clients contracts and Integral/JLL process & procedures.

The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of all day-to-day MAC activities, including the Specialist Vendors to deliver works on time and on budget.

You will ensure that the conduct of any personnel under your control is safe, professional and conscientious. You will also be required to attend site meetings with the client and on behalf of the client as requested. Driving a Health and Safety lead culture throughout the team on the account, with your experience and knowledge of safe systems of works and compliance.

    Working with various key Integral Vendors to deliver consistent process for MAC/Projects, scope and price project and remedial works.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Undertake MAC & Small Project Work Reviews / Site Surveys and provide tender quotation returns including cost breakdowns as required.

    Supervise, coordinate and lead in-house team alongside specialist vendors in order to deliver MAC & Small Project Works.

    On receipt of MAC Scope & Drawings, organise required survey and notify Client.

    On Receipt of cost approval (order) raise relevant orders for Specialist Vendors, plan works with Vendors and Key Client Contacts alongside in house team as required.

    Use of various software packages to project manage and financial manage projects, to produce regular management reports as requested and complete close out documentation.

    The control of all activities relating to the technical and efficient management of the projects within compliance with statutory regulations.

    Ensure the team and Specialist Vendors comply with the all contractual and health and safety requirements.

    First Line Management of any Specialist Vendor performance issues on MAC/Projects.

      Proactively promote a “Safety First” culture in line with the JLL Cardinal Rules of Safety are adhered to by all engineering teams

      Experience

      At least 5 years of relevant experiences in MAC / Project Management.

      Good co-ordination and communication skills.

      Good IT skills.

      Excellent people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of client staff and demands.

        Ability to problem solve and work independently in a changing and multi-tasking environment with numerous.
